Every day companies do business with partners and clients from across the globe. The stakes are high, and time is money, so it can seem necessary to grease the wheels of a complex system that can be quite slow moving at times. But understanding the repercussions of corruption when doing business is important. Bribery is unethical and, in many locations around the world, illegal. This course defines bribery in the context of international business dealings. It describes the basic concepts of bribery and explores strategies for preventing bribery in international transactions.
